National Account Manager

Outline of Duties

As the National Account Manager, you will be the primary relationship manager for our hospital and community pharmacy stakeholders, including Directors of Pharmacy, pharmacists, IT and administrative staff. You will also work closely with the Managing Director and members of both the Pharmhos Professional Services and Technical teams on key accounts and special projects.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor of Pharmacy; Bachelor of Health Sciences; or similar
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum three years of experience working in large public hospitals
  • Prior experience with Merlin and/or MerlinMAP (highly favourable) but not essential

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with client users; client IT departments; other vendors; and internal stakeholders
  • Responding to client software/hardware questions in person, via phone, email or fax in a professional and timely manner
  • Documenting, reporting and actioning items as agreed with various stakeholders
  • Providing knowledge and assistance to customers and Pharmhos support staff, in understanding and implementing Pharmhos Medications Management solutions
  • Attending conferences and trade displays as exhibitor or delegate
  • Assisting clients with the preparation of project briefs and business cases, as required
  • Attending, presenting and supporting at internal and external briefings and presentations
  • Other duties as reasonable required

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

  • High level of computer literacy
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects and clients
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • To be a self-starter, who has proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Initiative to undertake problem solving
  • Familiarity with pharmacy practice, health policy and legislation including PBS policy highly regarded

  • Australian Citizenship OR Permanent Residency
  • Successful completion of a National Criminal check
